She is leader of the jazz dance group Unique, deputy chairwoman of TV Jahn Duderstadt and of course a handball fan: Viviane Leinemann. We introduce the 27-year-old before the next home game of the freshly crowned Verbandsliga champions.
"I'm a person who would like to create a nice community," emphasizes the physiotherapist. "It seemed like that for a long time and that's how many ignorant outsiders still see it today that TV Jahn and the handball division are two different pairs of shoes." This is by no means the case, on the contrary: "Since I've been deputy chairman of TV Jahn since 2015, I'm trying to get involved in the handball department as well."
AdvertisementThe interest in Eichsfeld handball has also grown steadily through her husband Thomas: "He has always enjoyed watching our team's games, and so I have become more and more interested in this sport. That's why there's only one favorite handball team for me, and that's TV Jahn Duderstadt. I am very happy that we are so successful again and I would like to thank the players and coaches for the season that is soon to end," emphasized the deputy chairman, whose heart also goes to the jazz dance group of the TV Jahn hits.

And at the dance and gymnastics forum of the Lower Saxony Gymnastics Federation, they performed their new dance "Bodyguard" for the first time.
The group has existed since 2008, it was managed by Marlis Windel until 2010 and taken over by Viviane Leinemann after her death. Unique has not only been a figurehead on the country's sporting stages for years, but is also increasingly being booked as a surprise for private celebrations such as weddings or birthdays. And of course also from the handball players. Unique will appear again in the last league game against HSG Oha on May 11, before the women from Eichsfeld make their big appearance at the "Day of Lower Saxony" in Wilhelmshaven in mid-June.
TV Jahn Duderstadt celebrates promotion to the OberligaAnd that with Viviane Leinemann, who has been a member of TV Jahn Duderstadt since she was five and started doing children's gymnastics there back then. The physiotherapist grew up with the club and got to know the facets of the club there. Less than ten years ago, Leinemann decided to do a voluntary social year (FSJ) with TV Jahn. "I have many different sports groups such as dance circles, senior sports, heart sports, children's gymnastics, parent-child gymnastics, gymnastics and step aerobics," says the 27-year-old with noticeable enthusiasm.
She has already supported the Duderstadt Sparkassenlauf or organized the Harzer Energiesportcamp and contributed her organizational skills to handball events. After the FSJ, Viviane Leinemann was admitted to the board, first as a sports director and additional head of the jazz dance department and since 2015 as deputy chairwoman.
