Primary school children can spend a whole afternoon trying out up to 14 sports at the Ransberg sports centre. This is made possible by the "Kids in Action" day of action, which the district sports association Viersen, the city of Viersen and the city sports association Viersen organize together with their clubs. The swimming pool at Ransberg can be used for the first time. The program runs from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m.
In addition to well-known sports such as soccer or handball, the boys and girls can try American football, BMX cycling or taekwondo. These sports are represented at Kids in Action with exciting hands-on activities: American football, BMX, soccer, handball, hockey, judo, athletics, swimming (registration required, seahorse required), skating, taekwondo, tennis, table tennis, gymnastics and volleyball.
