Admittedly, we love jeans too. After all, you can't go too far wrong with classic blue jeans. It gives us security and, thanks to the thick denim, keeps us warm in winter. But sometimes it's just time to leave your comfort zone and bring new momentum to the daily jeans parade. We'll show you five denim alternatives that you can use to spice up your outfit creatively and definitely not shiver in the cold season!
Whether in khaki, beige or even neon orange - we just can't get around military-style cargo pants at the moment. The functional sewn-on side pockets, the high seat and the casual cut are typical of the highly sought-after trousers. Some new models now come with an elastic waistband and elastic leg ends - for an extra portion of comfort! The army/safari look is really complete when you tuck the cargo pants into sturdy boots and combine them with other camouflage colors.
We don't banish Marlene Dietrich's favorite pants from our wardrobe, even in winter. The perfect combination of shoes with long Marlene trousers that end just below the floor are, of course, heels. But chunky platform sneakers also set the scene for the swinging pants. The wide, flowing leg dress always looks super elegant - whether dressed up or down. Oh, and what do we really love about her? The extra length of the Marlene pants simply completely disguises what thermal measures we wear underneath!
Lederhosen keep you wonderfully warm in winter and also look absolutely stylish. The great thing about lederhosen? We currently get them in all possible cuts. Whether tight, with a paperbag waistband, as shorts, in a military style, with flared legs or 7/8 length - shops like H&M, Reserved, Zara and & other stories provide us with a huge selection! By the way, it doesn't always have to be black leather. Cognac-colored leather pants look at least as elegant and bring variety to the otherwise monotonous jeans parade.
Culottes are only worn in summer? none. The shortened leg of the culottes provides airy legroom in summer, but in the right combination, it also becomes a style highlight in winter. To avoid the cold, we simply wear opaque thermal tights under the wide culottes and combine them with a chunky knit sweater, thick winter coat and Chelsea or sock boots. Those who prefer it sporty can wear warm tennis socks and casual sneakers with culottes in winter.
Gone are the days when corduroy eked out its life in the form of old-fashioned brown-beige blazers and knee-length skirts. The cult 70s fabric is currently celebrating a fashion revival and shines in new shapes and cuts. With their dense material, corduroy trousers are a perfect, warm alternative to jeans. Influencer Leonie Hanne knows this too, as she casually stuffs the trendy ribbed trousers into snake skin boots, thereby smashing the old-fashioned image of corduroy to the ground.
