Mehr InformationenFor the first time: SQLAB produces ergonomic bicycle saddle in Germany. The special thing about the new 6ox Infinergy® Ergowave® Active "Made in Germany" is the foam of the saddle, which no longer consists of classic PU foam, but from the BASF Infinergy® material known from running shoes.Manufacturing technology was carried out by the FA.Oechsler in Ansbach, a large automotive supplier, developed very successfully a few years ago for a large sporting goods manufacturer.SQLAB and Oechsler then optimized this procedure together for bicycle saddles.
The first "Made in Germany" saddle: 6ox infinergy® Ergowave® Active
The 6ox Ergowave® Active saddle has been around for 2 years, but not in this execution: Made in Germany. The special thing about the new 6ox Infinergy® Ergowave® Active "Made in Germany" is the foam of the saddle, which no longer consists of classic PU foam, but from the BASF Infinergy® material known from running shoes. This material is very robust and, especially off -road, brings comfort to a completely new level due to the faster provision. The cover is not pulled over the saddle as with classic saddles. There are only "tapes" in the important places. These are automated and connected to the Infinergy® foam without adhesive.Manufacturing technology was carried out by the FA.Oechsler in Ansbach, a large automotive supplier, developed very successfully a few years ago for a large sporting goods manufacturer.SQLAB and Oechsler then optimized this procedure together for saddles.
Area of application: E-MTB and Enduro/Allmountain Bikes
The 6ox is the optimal saddle for long and steep climbs on the E-MTB and at the same time ensures optimal relief, even on wheels without a motor. So the driver no longer has to take abundant protective attitudes and all the energy is available to the propulsion.
The perfect fit for women and men
It is no longer a secret for a long time: a saddle has to fit like a few shoes!Because if a saddle is too narrow, it presses exactly where it shouldn't press.SQLAB was the first saddle manufacturer to present a system in 2002 to measure the distance between the seating bones and to calculate the optimal saddle width. So there are now all SQLAB saddle models in up to four different widths. This guarantees that the seating bones will be on the saddle full area. This is the only way to relieve the sensitive dam area in the man and the most deeper pubic arch of the woman.
The new 6ox Infinergy® Ergowave® Active "Made in Germany" saddle also appears in four different widths (13/14/16 cm) and thus offers the optimal fit for women and men alike.
Back -friendly
The new Active saddle technologyist not only has become easier, but also much more easily. The comfortable and intervertebral disc -gentle side movement is one of the functions that has led to many test victories of the SQLAB Sättel in recent years. The active movement is even better adjustable for the body weight in the new models, since the elastomers are smaller and lighter. The shell consists of a new plastic/carbon fiber mix and also enables the active function via the material flex.
Pressure distribution according to the medical point of view
Für die Pressure distribution according to the medical point of view - weg vom Dammbereich und hin zu den Sitzknochen - sorgt die seit zwanzig Jahren bewährte - und immer wieder im Detail verbesserte SQlab Stufensattelform. The saddle nose, which is deeper in the level, ensures better pressure distribution on the seat bones and on the seat legs and accordingly presses less on the sensitive structures of the dam area.In men and women alike. The deepening in the middle of the saddle is sufficient to ensure excellent blood and nerve supply.
Perfect stop on the E-MTB
The SQLAB saddle shape with the elevated seating area is perfect for driving up and brings more power on the pedal even on a straight line.
Quality and comfort
What is special is the foam of the saddle, which no longer consists of classic PU foam, but from the BASF Infinergy® material known from running shoes. This material is very robust, almost indestructible and, especially in the area, brings a completely new level to the comfort due to the faster provision. The cover is not pulled over the saddle as with classic saddles. There are only "tapes" in the important places.(BASF and Infinergy® are entered by BASF)
Regional
Even if the main production of the SQLAB Sättel remains in Asia, the 6ox Infinergy® Ergowave® Active Sattel "Made in Germany" is the beginning of an exciting project that SQLAB has been working on for many years. The advantages are not only clearly noticeable for the customer, but above all for the environment.Access to the latest materials and manufacturing methods also enables SQLAB to improve the functions, longevity and quality of the product in collaboration with the top experts from material research and production. From an ecological point of view, the local connection of the SQLAB "Made in Germany" not only means that the long transport route is eliminated, but also that the production is extremely efficient and strict, German guidelines are subject to pollutants.Local production, quality assurance and durability are decisive for the SQLAB project.
