Medicine in Haan: foot Center awarded six consecutive Tim

Haan at the Haaner Krankenhaus St. Josef is given special attention to the human "underframe". For this, "orthopaedic foot surgery" has now been awarded once again-a success story that continues.

He has a back, a sole, and even a vault. The architecture of the foot is simply fascinating, especially with regard to the diverse tasks on which it often has "hard to carry".

Mona Abbara-Czardybon shares the enthusiasm for the human & quot; substructure & quot;, even more: the specialist in orthopedics and trauma surgery does everything to ensure that her patients & APOs; feet are well. As head of the orthopaedic foot centre at the St. Joseph Hospital in Haan, she has plenty of opportunity to do so. And because Abbara-Czardybon and her team perform their tasks so competently, they have now again received an important award.

Haaner Fußzentrum zum sechsten Mal in Folge ausgezeichnet

For the sixth time in a row, orthopaedic foot surgery as part of the Rheinland Haan foot centre receives the certificate as a certified centre for foot and ankle surgery. "in Germany, only 35 centres have so far received such certification," says Cerstin Tschirner, spokesperson of the Kplus Group as the operator of the hospital-a success story.

Feet are the most stressed part of the human body. For a person weighing 70 kilograms, they carry two and a half tons on a normal day. The problems that lead to painful feet can be correspondingly diverse. Malpositions that can be innate, but also often acquired only in the course of life. If physiotherapy, relief from good shoes and one or the other gait no longer help barefoot, surgery is often the only remedy, the specialists of the Haaner foot Center stress.

"we voluntarily submit to the strict requirements in order to constantly guarantee the high quality," stresses Mona Abbara-Czardybon. "the audits are carried out annually by external experts of our field, who know exactly what matters," adds Justus Stadler, who is also the main surgeon of the center as a specialist in orthopaedics and trauma surgery in addition to Abbara-Czardybon.

There, highly specialised doctors from the disciplines of diabetology, orthopaedics, trauma surgery, vascular surgery as well as anaesthesia and pain therapy have joined together to form a centre of competence. The treatment is supported and accompanied by physiotherapists, podiatologists and nurses.

The treatment spectrum covers all age classes from infant to adult and covers the entire spectrum of toe malpositions such as hallux valgus or rigidus, hammer and claws, to the consequences of accidents and wear of the foot and ankle. Careful consideration is given to whether surgery needs to be performed or whether conservative treatment is sufficient.

& quot; we are proud to have passed the certification process again, & quot; says Abbara-Czardybon: & quot; in this way, we receive an independent confirmation that we meet the requirements of the specialist societies for foot and ankle every day. & quot;

And this is to be continued-as far as the feet are concerned.
