Opinions of opinion after demonstration in Bautzen - Bautzener Bote

There have been demonstrations or walks in Bautzen for months.Every Monday, citizens meet on the grain market in the city center and perceive a fundamental right: they demonstrate.

With the tightening of the Corona measures by the state government, police operations have repeatedly occurred.The reactions to the events are very different.

Therefore, we would like to publish all expressions of opinion, which were transmitted to us.

Bautzens Mayor Alexander Ahrens to 27.12.2021:

"The massive hostility and violence towards the police and the balance of the evening with numerous damaged cars and a total of 11 injured police officers are deeply outraged by me.Every participant in the Monday demos has to wonder at the latest who he marches with or which figures he offers a stage with the registration of demonstrations.I call on the applicants of the peaceful demos to immediately distance themselves from the violent right-wing extremists and to refrain from further demo registrations.Bautzen must not become a stage for forces that sow violence and hatred.Unfortunately, the applicants of the demonstrations have demonstrated in the past few weeks that they attract strengths that they cannot tame.This should now be the end of any cooperation or any understanding.The responsible regulatory office in the Bautzen district office must act and prohibit the demos in the future.The oversized majority of Bautzen Society thinks and acts differently, even if everyone is actually annoyed due to the current circumstances.The majority adheres to the Corona protection regulations and protects itself and others.The majority are peaceful and solidarity.With this majority everyone who took part in the demo yesterday have nothing in common.They specifically violate police officers.They accept that ugly pictures are sent to the world.They accept that the retail retailed by the pandemic, especially in the city center, continues to bleed down.They accept that visitors to the city take a bad picture into the world and that some will make a wide arc around the region again in the future.We no longer accept that!The city will continue to make up the light every Monday to remember the large number of Corona death victims.I would like to call all the retailers, hotels and citizens to join the campaign and to make out the light on Mondays from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m..Let's not give the figures from last night to do not stage for their machinations.Let us show the real, solidary building."

Our meeting on the Kornmarkt, like 46 weeks before, was peaceful from our side.The special assembly requirements of the regulatory office were implemented correctly, even if we rate them as disproportionate restriction of Article 8, GG of the FRG.In the announcements of our meetings and at the meetings, we always called and call for everyone to behave peacefully and non -violent.
