Barmen: Trio attacks arcade in Barmen

On Tuesday evening three men attacked an arcade in Barmen. The police are looking for witnesses.

An amusement arcade on Heckinghauser Strasse was attacked on Monday evening. As the police reported, three men had attacked a 45-year-old employee of the game library around 10:35 p.m. with tear gas and injured his head. While the trio cleared out the cash register, the Wuppertal resident was able to escape and call the police. The perpetrators held a man who had been on the premises during the robbery at bay until they escaped. The three men finally escaped in the direction of Ziegelstraße with the stolen cash.

The perpetrators are described as follows: They are said to be between 16 and 20 years old, could come from Eastern Europe and were partially masked. One of the suspects was wearing dark sweatpants with white stripes, a turquoise hoodie and white sneakers. The second man was said to be of heavy build and wearing a black baseball cap with white printing, a black T-shirt, gray sweatpants and black sneakers. The third masked man is said to have a slim figure, was wearing white sneakers, dark trousers and a dark hoodie.
