Without our feet, nothing works in the truest sense of the word: They carry us through life, but are repeatedly ignored and passed over, forgotten when applying lotion and of course maltreated with fashionable shoes.
Barefoot shoes, i.e. sneakers made of soft material with extremely flexible soles, are currently all the rage - there are now even fancier versions that are also suitable for the office.
But how sensible is it to wear such shoes?
