In sneakers, without suitable winter clothing and without any adequate equipment, four students wanted to climb Ben Nevis earlier this week.
The mountain in the Grampian Mountains only measures 1345 meters, but it is the highest peak in Scotland and Great Britain - and notorious for its capricious weather.
The four men from abroad had evidently never heard of this; Even storm "Ciara" (or "Sabine") couldn't stop the quartet from reaching the top of the Scottish parade mountain.

In an extremely dangerous rescue operation, the "absolute idiots", according to operations manager John Stevenson in an initial reaction, were finally brought safely down the mountain by a 22-strong team from Lochaber Mountain Rescue.
At least the four rescued showed understanding. They would have misjudged the situation completely and would not have been aware of the consequences of their actions.
As a small thank you, the volunteers from the Lochaber Mountain Rescue Team received chocolates, red wine, whiskey and a donation of £200.
