Level 1: Baseline Casual for men

Long gone are the days when wearing a suit was a must. Many companies are now going for the “baseline casual” look. So: nice t-shirts or polo shirts, dark jeans without washing and tasteful sneakers that are not too sporty.

But be careful: Always follow the +1/-1 rule. You can always dress up a notch to the office, and dress down a notch on Casual Friday or other more relaxed events. If, on the other hand, you dress two levels more chic, it will only appear overdressed and arrogant.
