Yeti Bikes 2021: Yeti recently presented the newly launched hardtail ARC, a few weeks before that the revised down country fully celebrated its premiere with the SB115. Now the cult brand from Colorado has officially heralded the new season and presents the revised lineup including some changes!

For 2021, the major changes at Yeti are primarily focused on the Down Country area: The new SB115, which is the successor to the popular SB100, was more than convincing in our first test and is the fully with the shortest suspension travel. The portfolio has also been expanded to include the new edition of the hardtail classic ARC. This was initially presented as a strictly limited special edition on the occasion of the company's 35th anniversary, followed shortly afterwards by the regular version. The other changes at Yeti for 2021 are less spectacular: The lineup remains largely the same, fresh colors have been added. In addition, for the new season there is also a C2 variant of all models in Germany, which is priced more cheaply, at least by Yeti standards.

Yeti ARC: The comeback of the hardtail classic

The Yeti ARC was one of the most popular and successful hardtails for many, many years - but then disappeared from the scene a few years ago. Now the ARC is making a comeback – initially as a strictly limited and rather expensive Limited Edition, now also as a regular version. Recently, Yeti has focused more on having fun on the descent with the ARC: the chic hardtail is now more of a down-country bike than a highly efficient projectile for the race track. Yeti SB115: Down Country 2.0

The new Yeti SB115 is also probably most at home in the new Down Country category. The successor to the SB100 now offers a little more spring travel thanks to the new rocker link and a slightly adjusted stiffness, but otherwise looks almost confusingly similar to the chic predecessor. The Yeti SB115 was also impressive in our first test: It goes uphill efficiently, but you can really let it rip downhill. In Germany, the SB115 is available in four variants between €5,590 and €7,890.

Yeti SB130: trail bike with descent ambitions

With the Yeti SB130, large 29″ wheels meet 130 mm of travel at the rear and 150 mm at the front. This puts the carbon bike, which like all other Yeti fullies on the Switch Infinity system, somewhere between trail and enduro. In our recent test, we found that the SB130 is really fast - if you dare... New for 2021 is the C2 spec for € 6,490 and the rusty brown color with the appropriate name "Brick".

Yeti SB130 Lunch Ride: The lunch break is getting wild

The so-called Lunch Ride Edition is even wilder than the regular SB130: The frame is identical, but the equipment is roughly the same as that which the Yeti employees use for the rumored pretty crisp midday rides on the trails in Take Colorado with you. In concrete terms, this means: 10 mm more spring travel, resulting in a slightly adapted geometry, more aggressive tires and a more powerful brake system. The Lunch Ride-SB130 is available as a C-Series model (€6,190) and as a T-Series variant (€8,290).

Yeti SB140: Versatile fun machine

The SB140 aims to be Yeti's all-round fun machine. In addition, the Americans consistently rely on 27.5″ wheels, contrary to all current trends. With the launch of the Yeti SB140, Yeti has made a new division into the two categories Rip and Race: While the race cars are clearly made for efficient shooting on racetracks, the Rip bikes are supposed to let it rip, especially off the safety belt - the driving pleasure is clearly in the foreground here. In addition to changed specs, the red color in particular is new. Yeti refers to this as "Ron" - lovers of the German kitchen classic Mettigel will have their mouths watering at the sight!

Yeti SB150: Richie Rude likes this

Admittedly, Richie Rude would probably be damn fast on a rented electric scooter and would compete for the EWS victory every weekend. But the bike of his choice is probably even faster: the Yeti SB150 is made for the toughest enduro racetracks and moves forward very well. Our test has already confirmed this. In 2021, the fast 29er will be in its third year - we're curious to see if a successor will be seen at some point in the course of the next year.

Yeti SB165: Master of the Gnarniverse

Yeti describes what is probably the roughest bike in the current lineup as the Master of the Gnarniverse. And indeed, there is a whole lot of freeride in the rough device. With 180 mm spring travel at the front - including approval for double bridge forks! –, 165 mm at the rear and coil dampers, the SB165 cuts a fine figure on big jumps and in the bike park, but can still be easily pedaled up under its own power. The two well-known colors black and turquoise will be joined by a chic moss green for 2021. The Yeti SB165 for 2021 is available in four variants and prices between €6,290 and €8,790.
