Nike Air Max 1/97 Sean Wotherspoon

In 2018, Nike invited twelve designers to shape the future of the Nike Air. They came up with some incredible shoe designs that the public could then vote on for Nike Air Max Day 2018! Sean Wotherspoon's design ended up being the winner. Wotherspoon combined an Air Max 97 upper with the outsole and midsole of an Air Max 1. The multicolored corduroy upper was inspired by brainstorming discussions with close family members and friends. The soft pastel colors were meant to match Wotherspoon's own favorite essential: a white vintage t-shirt. The small swoosh near the toe was a unanimous decision. Another highlight? A smiley face from an old "Have a Nike Day" shirt on the insole greets you as you slip into these shoes.

Nike Air Max 90 (III) 'Infrared'

In 2020, Nike brought back the 'Infrared' Air Max 90 for the eighth time to celebrate its 30th anniversary. The sneaker appeared in its OG form, just like the first release in 1990.
