In 1987 Nike introduced the Air Max 1, which changed the sneaker game and was developed by the brand & APOs; s most famous shoe designer based in Oregon, Tinker Hatfield (the leading thinker behind the MAG and Air Jordan). For the first time, the design offered a window inside a pair of sneakers, making the patented air technology visible. Thirty years and more than 20 silhouettes later, the Air Max line is one of the most established lines under Nike & APOs; s roof, and she has just added a new player to her team: the Nike Air Max 2090. The new sneakers are somehow familiar to us, and that & APOs; s because they & APOs; re basically, with a few changes here and there. The new silhouette is inspired by the Air Max 90 (originally referred to as Air Max 3), which was released in 1990, the shoes that Virgil Abloh, off-white, and unbroken have got into their hands in recent years as part of their respective Nike collaborations. The latest Air Max design, introduced earlier this year, consists of the best parts of the Air Max 90-and even more. The sole, air cushion and the traditional heel logo remained intact, while the new features include a streamlined shape and an air window, which is 200 percent larger than the traditional Air Max 90 units. In a collaboration of Neymar Jr. X Nike have just been released two pairs (a light brown, a black) with the words "São Vicente", "Praia Grande", "Jardim Glória" and "Nautica III", which refer to the adopted home, childhood and school of the player of Paris Saint-Germain. In Germany rapper Juju is the advertising face for the Nike Air Max 2090. She writes to an Instagram message: "I am the face of the new Nike Air Max campaign. You know, I love Air Max! "
