Many people want to lose weight at the beginning of the year.The number of gym registrations shoots up.What mistakes do women do in your opinion?
Many women struggle on the stepper for an hour and then think they have done enough for their bodies.But that's totally ineffective.A workout has to punch out you properly!You have to give everything and not just stay in the comfort zone.That's why I am a great advocate of strength training.
Many women prefer sports courses instead of training with heavy dumbbells.
I always say: everyone should look for a sport for which they can continuously motivate himself.Because only with perseverance can you see success after some time.I feel totally comfortable in the gym, train a lot with free weights and barbells.You can also do strength training without looking like a man.That doesn't happen overnight.
Maybe you just train wrongly.
Many don't dare to ask the trainer how an exercise works properly.Then they may get pain or it simply does not bring anything - and the women give up disappointed.
What mistakes do you still observe?
It is not a real mistake, rather I give a tip: If you start to train in the gym, you should definitely take a friend with you.It is simply more difficult to get started as a beginner alone.I started with a friend myself.Experience shows me that you also try new exercises when someone is there.Then it doesn't feel so embarrassing.
How often do you train?
Four times a week, one hour each.
Not everyone has time for an hour of training in a row.
If you only have ten to fifteen minutes, I recommend my YouTube workouts.They are so hardcore that I still find it exhausting.The trick is that the exercises are made directly one after the other without leaving a break and without body tension.This makes them very effective.
They swear by planking, squats and weights.Are there fitness trends that you consider overvalued?
If products that you stick to your stomach and then shake them in teleshopping are sold, so that you supposedly get a six -pack on the sofa, this is total nonsense.
So you are not a fan of the sweat belt either.
I have already seen this with some bodybuilders in the gym and fitness instant rams!I haven't tried that myself yet, but it seems to be doing something.I rather criticize the supposed fitness equipment for lazy ones, for which you don't have to do anything.They should take care of your work, but they don't help.
Your advice for beginners?
During sports it should always be fun.In addition, you don't have to invest much in equipment, especially at the beginning.Many exercises can be done with your own body.You can save yourself the money.
