One of the viewers' focus in the first episode was Mike Cees-Monballijn (33). After it came out that his wife, the "Tatort" actress Michelle Monballijn (42), had an affair with ex-VIVA presenter Mola Adebisi (48) 15 years ago, Mike made a name for himself with dramas of jealousy and provocative comments. Mike Cees-Monballijn, born in Chiemgau in 1987, first made a name for himself as a DJ, event manager and consultant for various companies before he went into the TV business. It all started with participation in the reality TV format "Temptation Island" in 2020. He then tried to conquer the heart of Chanelle Wyrsch on the Swiss edition of "Bachelorette".
That's how he met Michelle Monballijn
In the same year he met the love of his life - but away from the cameras. Mike Cees and Michelle Monballijn met at a birthday party in Berlin in March 2020. "Actually, we both - independently of each other - didn't want to go out that evening. Mike didn't feel like it and I was totally exhausted. Today we know: It was worth it, the chemistry was right immediately and we had a lot of fun together," she remembers 42-year-old in an interview with "Gala".
What was initially a friendly relationship quickly turned into a romantic relationship. The application followed just a few months later, and the wedding was celebrated in February 2021. Mike then took his wife's last name. "Within twelve months we got together, moved in together and got married. We threw all the dating rules overboard," she continued in an interview with "Gala". The fact that Michelle is almost ten years older than him doesn't bother him. "I could never be with younger people," he said in an RTL interview. Since then, the couple has lived together in Berlin with two children, whom Michelle brought into the marriage from a previous relationship.
Drama in the "Summer House"
Her love was put to the test right at the start with her participation in "The Summer House of the Stars". The DJ doesn't like the earlier story between Mola and Michelle. He wants to "distance", Mola is now "taboo" for him - also for his wife, as he decided. Viewers can already follow this Wednesday (October 6th) as the jealousy drama develops. The second episode of "Das Sommerhaus der Stars" runs from 8:15 p.m. on RTL.
